Hey, what is a good video recorder for under $70 dollars?
Is there any or is that a pipe dream?
I have HDMI inputs on my TV, use it for my PS3...
There are also analog cable ports if that means anything.

That is very do-able bro. A youtube search and a google search will answer all your questions bro, but I know for a fact that there are cheaper recorders out there, they may limit your recordings in one way or another however.

For example the top end ones have a built in hard drive.

The cheaper ones are external hardware that must be placed inline between a Ps3 and computer...

Others are actual video cards that must be placed in the computer itself.

Other options are using camcorders by just buying a few extra wires and using the camcorder's inputs to record direct to the camcorder harddrive or recordable disc.

Of course most of these options require you to have a computer to upload them to youtube.

However, I might be mistaken, but the ps3 might have that ability as well.

RE: KEQTUBE!!! ATTN: Youtube directors and video editors!!!
you can get a easycap recorder on ebay for like 10 dollars. the only problem is there is no support and it records in sd. roxio makes one too its like 40-50 dollars again records in sd but still does well.

gobby"s videos are using the easycap

skylinercr uses the roxio.

the only thing with the easycap is finding the proper drivers to have it record on your computer. it uses the normal composite cables (rca) cables yellow red and white.

the roxio i think uses components but can only handle 480i resolution, not for sure tho.

the biggest problem with the easycap is it doesn"t compress your videos so you end up with huge files over 4gb big for a 20 min vid.

that is why everyone loves using the hd-pvr because the hardware itself compresses it to a mp4 file. if you have any questions just ask, ill be glad to help anyone out. if you have questions on editting as well just shoot.

on a side note you dont need a super computer to save your vids and upload them. you just need a super computer if you want to add effects and transitions. majority of the time just using windows movie maker is enuff for what most individuals like doing. its when you get into the technical stuff such as the keq dust 514 vid you will need more power. i honestly record my vids onto my netbook, then transfer the video files to my desktop.

what kind of editing program do you use?
Do you use two different programs, one for 3D effects and one for film editing?
I use the Pinnacle StudioHD Ultimat program and I have no chance in h### to create something like the Dust514 trailer.Cool
